Since
it’s conception in 1996, the SOUTH AUSTRALIAN DANCE MUSIC
AWARDS have been a celebration of the efforts and achievements of
our DJS, CLUBS, PROMOTERS, LIVE ACTS, PRODUCERS and more whom set
new standards and achievements in their field.
Now in
it’s 10th awards year, the SADMA's is continuing to forge the
mantle of the only true recognition of outstanding achievement within
the Dance Music Industry. Backed by industry associated sponsors and
community organisations, each awards year have been sell out events,
paving the way for bigger and better production, and venues more suitable
to such a prestigious occasion.
For the Dance Music Industry, this is the ‘Night of Nights’
with all the glitz and glamour you would expect from any iconic awards
ceremony

The
SADMA Voting System
1.
A SADMA committee/board has been formed to oversee the SADMA voting
structure. Representatives range from the Media (Onion Magazine),
A practicing Lawyer and a current serving Member of Parliament. The
board remains neutral and has no conflict of interest to any Clubs,
Venues, DJ's, Promoters and any other affiliated organisations within
the Dance Music Industry.
2.
All votes are to be compiled and counted by an independent and professional
accountant, which will be checked by the board.
3.
Industry Voting: In order to be nominated, the nominee will be required
to compile a sufficient number of Industry Votes to finish in the
top 3 nominees of any particular category.
4.
Public Voting: After the top 3 nominees from each of the category's
has been established, the public is invited to vote for their favourite
nominee in each category.
5.
Public voting will commence after the Industry votes are compiled.
6.
Industry voting guidelines will be available shortly. If
you feel that you qualify as an industry member and would like to
register your interest in the Industry Vote then join our SADMA Industry
mailing list and we'll keep you informed when the voting polls are
open.
